Workshops
Workshops are a retreat like no other. They are Student led and Student designed. We have two Workshops per school year ... on in the Fall and one in the Spring. These times are sacred and holy times that are more fun than one should be able to have in a weekend. We hope that you will mark your calendars for this year’s Workshops: Fall Workshop @ Valle Crucis October 31 - November 2, 2008 and Spring Workshop @ Blue Ridge Assembly (dates tba)
Kerygma
Kerygma is one of the things that makes Wesley Memorial Student Ministries unique. They were started way back in the day before small groups were the norm. Here Students will meet new friends, grow closer to old friends ... and will meet the Lord as they open up their hearts to hear what He has to say to them. We have a great group of dedicated Senior High Kerygma leaders that “make God’s love real” each week and on Workshops. Kerygmas meet on Sunday mornings from 9:45 - 10:45 am.
TLC
This is a time on Wednesday nights (7:00 to 8:45) for our Senior High Students to come together for a meal together, to share in fellowship, and to dig deep into scripture and to discern how it applies to their lives. All Senior High Students are encouraged to be a part of this long standing Bible Study that is designed just for them. The cost of the meal is $5.00 per person. The first Wednesday of each month we go out to eat at a local restaurant.
