Confirmation (6th Grade) meets in C105 Confirmation at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church is a time of intentional preparation, leading to the public profession of faith. During this time young persons "make firm" what has gone before: God's prevenient grace, baptism, the teaching and witness of parents and other persons of faith, the teachings and life together in the church, the student's own growing faith. Youth are invited to claim for themselves the name Christian for themselves. Confirmation is a significant step in the journey of faith.
Confirmation here at WMUMC is taught in the 6th grade but is not limited to Students of that age. Confirmation Class is held during the Sunday School hour (9:45-10:45 a.m.) We begin Confirmation Class on September 14, 2008 and conclude on Confirmation Sunday - May 17, 2009. There is a Confirmation Retreat on May 1-3, 2009.
